3. Mental health

Becoming a parent is an adventure, full of highs and lows. Parents may choose to use cloth diapers part time when life is complicated or they just simply, want to take a break. Your mental health should always come first.

Sometimes laundry piles up, or life takes twists and turns where the convenience of disposables just makes more sense. It's important to remember that taking breaks does not mean that you failed.

4. Day care / Child care

While there are many child care facilities that welcome the use of cloth diapers, not every day care setting will be flexible with cloth diapering families. When cloth diapering is not an available option at your chosen child care facility, families may choose to send disposable diapers with their child during the day and cloth diaper them at home and on weekends. This is very common and a valid cloth diapering experience.

Being open to the idea that cloth diapers can work together with disposable diapers can offer your family more flexibility.
