Do Renew diapers come with inserts?
No, Renew Premium Hybrid One Size Cloth Diapers and Newborn Diapers do not come with inserts included. Insert can be purchased separately.
Note, Renew Premium Diapers are more narrow than our Essentials Pocket Diapers and work best when paired with Renew inserts and absorbencies.
What makes the heavy wetter version different?
The Renew Premium Heavy Wetter Hybrid One Size Cloth Diaper diaper includes two built-in layers of bamboo viscose sewn inside the pocket opening, adding extra absorbency right where it’s needed most.
While this design offers boosted absorbency, it’s designed to be used with inserts for full leak protection, especially for overnight or extended wear.

How to prep new cloth diapers
Our modern cloth diaper shells need only be washed once before wear.
Kinder cloth diaper natural fiber diaper inserts may be washed up to three times before use to improve absorbency. However, this is not necessary. Diapers will continue to become more absorbent after several washes and wears.
How to wash cloth diapers
Washing cloth diapers can be really simple!
This simple flow can be used to build most any cloth diaper wash routine.
1. Remove solids into the toilet. This can done with a diaper sprayer toilet attachment, by physically shaking the diaper or by dunking the diaper in the toilet and "swishing" it around to remove the solids. 2. Store dirty diapers in a pail or bag until wash day. 3. Perform a prewash in your machine. We like to run my prewash with line 1 of Tide powder detergent and a normal, heavy cycle with warm water. 4. Perform a main wash. We tend to run a heavy duty cycle with an extra rinse. For this cycle we will add line 1 of tide, sometimes line 2 if it's a particularly large load.
I’ve tried quite a few different brands of cloth diapers, and I bought the regular kinder pocket diapers for my potty training toddler like last November or something and once they came and we used them I was SO impressed by the quality of the diapers and the inserts. I knew instantly it was my new favorite brand of cloth diapers, and then this new version of cloth diapers “Renew” came out and in smaller sizes!? I immediately jumped on to try for my 1week old. Oh my gosh I’m in love lol 10/10 they’re so soft, and the quality is so amazing. I’d recommend to anyone!
These are definitely luxury diapers! So soft and stretchy & vivid colors! I did find that I am not a huge fan of the absorbency that came with these but the yellows fit just as well so I am glad they are now offering them without inserts so I can afford to buy more lol, baby is 6 weeks in the photo, around 10ish lbs. I do find they’re little more bulbous but I think that will even out as he grows as these are the one size
These renew cloth diapers are so soft!!! That was my first impression when I took them out of the package. Secondly, they fit my tiny newborn very well. With all the different snaps and stretchy material it’s easy to get a good fit without it being to tight or too loose. I also love that the inserts are included and adjustable for the different size of your babe. I’ll be ordering more soon!
I really like the design of these diapers. I just got two in the mail to try out. They are so soft and I like the straps being so stretchy. The extra flap in the back is also great. I was excited to buy more but I am really on the fence because they need to be a little longer for my baby. If they were closer to the length of the regular kinder pocket diapers I think it would help a lot. My baby is 22 pounds ( 13 months old) and her butt crack almost pokes out of the top of the back. I’m just not sure how well these will grow with her. I did try to adjust the fit a few times but it kept doing it. I do really hope maybe we get some options to have a longer diaper in these. They are so nice in quality!!! Yall are amazing:)
Super soft Diaper! And was PERFECT for my little heavy wetter :) I didn’t have to add extra layers and make it a bulky diaper like I used to with other diapers
So I gave them 2 stars because they are cute but the fit was awful. They are smaller than the one size renew diapers but because it only has one row of snaps you can't really adjust the leg hole size very well. I tried all the tricks... twisting the flaps before snapping them, the bunny ears... but the leg holes were still gaping and therefore it leaked. I really wanted to like them but they just did not work at all. In fact the one-size renew diapers actually fit better. I am quite disappointed with this purchase.
High quality fabric and prints! Cant wait to use on my baby girl! Definitely placed a couple more orders when they restocked. Absolutely love this style of diaper! Snap in inserts and 2 way pocket w/ snap in option is perfect. Perfect AI2 diaper in my opinion!
We looooooove the renew diapers. Pretty much every OS diaper is suoer bulky at the hips and legs on my narrow toddler, but these are PERFECT. its been so diffiucult finding the right fit and i am elated to have found these. We also love the colors and prints

Such a beautiful nappy. The tabs are so soft and stretchy so it’s comfortable on a crawling baby. It’s amazing just how many ways you can customize the way you put in the inserts in the Kekoas. The print and fabric are so luxe. I can easily say it’s one of my favorites. Thank you Kinder for carrying them!!
As someone committed to being as environmentally conscious as possible, being able to reduce the amount of disposable diapers in landfills is huge for me. I love these diapers - so advanced from when it was just the old fashioned cloth diapers. I'll be buying more as my grandson grows.
