Returns + Shipping


Due to the personal nature of cloth diapers, we do not accept returns for any reason other than manufacturer defects. This policy is in line with industry standards and is designed to ensure the safety and hygiene of our customers and their children. 

If you receive your order and are dissatisfied with the merchandise because it is defective, you may return your item for a full refund, or a replacement within 7 days of receipt. Please use the website chat feature in the bottom left hand corner to initiate a return or exchange. 


In the event of a defective item we will accept returns for full refund of the item price, excluding shipping, within 30 days. Applicable defects include: damaged PUL, stitching, seams, elastics, missing or damaged snaps or fabric. Returns must be in original packaging (if applicable), unused, unwashed, and unprepped. Due to the personal nature of cloth diapering, we do not accept returns that have been used or have any kind of discernible odors. (Laundry detergent, Perfume, Air freshener, Cigarette smoke, etc.) It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay return postage unless otherwise discussed with Kinder.

Please make sure to include the original packing slip OR a note with your order number, email address, and reason for return. Lack of information may delay your refund.

*Returns will be refunded to the original payment form.

Would you like to exchange a new defective item? Please reach out to use prior to doing so, so that we can ensure that we have the product you would like to exchange for. Please make a note in your return package what product that you would like to exchange for. The exchange will be processed upon receiving the return. 

Exchanged items must follow the guidelines for a return listed above.

Return Shipping of Returns/Exchanges:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

We ship only to the address provided. If you incorrectly enter the wrong address please reach out to us before your item ships. We cannot assume responsibility for any errors in the entering of your address during the checkout process. If the error is unable to be fixed prior to shipping, Kinder Cloth Diaper Co. assumes no liability for lost/missing items due to wrong address information.

Recieved Incorrect Items: 
At Kinder, we strive to ensure you receive the correct items you ordered. However, if you happen to receive an incorrect item, we're happy to exchange it for the right product through our simple returns process.

To initiate a return for an incorrect item:

  • Email with the details of your original order and the incorrect item(s) you received.
  • Our customer service team will promptly respond with instructions and provide you with a pre-paid return shipping label.
  • Simply repackage the incorrect item(s) in the original packaging if possible, affix the pre-paid label, and drop off the package at your nearest shipping carrier location.
  • Once we receive the returned item(s), we will process an exchange for the correct product(s) you originally ordered and have them shipped to you right away.

At Kinder, we understand that sometimes plans change. We offer a cancellation policy that allows you to cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as the product has not yet shipped. Note that orders cannot be cancelled during weekends or holidays. 

To cancel your order, please contact our customer support team at or open a chat with our customer service team using the chat icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. 

Edits to Existing Orders: 

Once an order has been placed on our website, it cannot be edited or modified in any way. This means that after you complete the checkout process and submit your order, you will not be able to:

  • Add or remove items
  • Change quantities
  • Apply discounts/promotions
  • Modify payment information

Our system immediately begins processing orders to prepare them for shipment. As such, we are unable to make any changes to an order once it enters our fulfillment queue.

If you need to return or exchange any items after receiving your shipment, please refer to our Returns & Exchanges policy above. We recommend reviewing your order carefully on the checkout page prior to finalizing your purchase. This will ensure your order details are complete and accurate before submission.
