Patented Double Gusset Technology
The LUXE by Kinder, pocket diaper features patented, innovative dual internal gusset technology licensed from Kanga Care LLC. The dual inner gussets provide a second layer of containment for even the messiest diaper situations.
All of our covers and pockets are sold without inserts. This allows our customers to choose the style of absorbency they prefer. Some families prefer to use different styles of absorbency like flats and prefolds.
Providing our covers and pockets without inserts allows us to be able to offer our diapers at a lower price point, making them accessible to more families.
What size range do our modern cloth diapers fit?
Our pocket diapers are estimated to fit most babies between 7 and 60 pounds. Featuring a generous fit and 3 by 5 rise snap settings, our diapers are made to grow and adapt with your baby.
Our cover diapers have a size range of 8-40lbs.
How to prep new cloth diapers
Our modern cloth diaper shells need only be washed once before wear.
Kinder cloth diaper natural fiber diaper inserts may be washed up to three times before use to improve absorbency. However, this is not necessary. Diapers will continue to become more absorbent after several washes and wears.
How to wash cloth diapers
Washing cloth diapers can be really simple!
This simple flow can be used to build most any cloth diaper wash routine.
1. Remove solids into the toilet. This can done with a diaper sprayer toilet attachment, by physically shaking the diaper or by dunking the diaper in the toilet and "swishing" it around to remove the solids. 2. Store dirty diapers in a pail or bag until wash day. 3. Perform a prewash in your machine. We like to run my prewash with line 1 of Tide powder detergent and a normal, heavy cycle with warm water. 4. Perform a main wash. We tend to run a heavy duty cycle with an extra rinse. For this cycle we will add line 1 of tide, sometimes line 2 if it's a particularly large load.
Athletic wicking jersey is both lightweight and breathable on baby's skin. By pulling moisture away from baby's delicate skin, AWJ creates a stay-dry feeling that helps reduce chafing and discomfort.

I purchased the Luxe and Renew diapers and you can feel the fabric quality is so amazing. I’ve tried them on my baby and she just seemed very comfortable wearing them. I really liked the absorbing power too. No leaks so far!
These Luxe diapers are so stinking cute! Our whole stash consists of the Essentials pocket diapers, but I bought a Luxe just to see what the hype was about, and I'm impressed! The quality is slightly better (though the Essentials are still great in my opinion), and these are just so soft and stretchy. They fit as beautifully as the Essentials, but I love that the insert is completely covered so it doesn't stick out of the back. Man, I wish I had tried them before completing my stash! I'll probably grab a few more if they go on sale lol
v2 literally sewn HORRIBLY. Cloth diapers are supposed to last long, i do not see these lasting more than a year. Ive been using maybe a month. First i could not find them, tried to file with the extra insurance you pay on the order.. they asked for my SSN i was sketched. But i was super excited to try them when i found them in the garage (my MIL put with all our other baby stuff we’re in the process of moving). All that just to be disappointed. Laundry tabs dont work. Loose threads everywhere. The tabs can still dig into your baby. A few even came with a snag in the AWJ. Do they need people to test their diapers?? Like why is this not tested before they put it out. Especially for $16 per diaper!

Obsessed. I wish my entire stash was the hook and loop. They didn't come out until I made my big purchase.
The first round of Luxe hook n loop did not work out for my baby, but the diaper material felt so lightweight and velvety that I had to come back and try out the snaps. I absolutely love these! The elastic on the back has a lot of stretch so I can get a better fit without leaving marks on my baby's back. The snaps also feel smoother when snapping and unsnapping compared to the essentials pockets. I though the additional flap in the back and the double gussets would make cleaning more laborious but everything slides right off when I run the diaper under the faucet. The green insert also fits in perfect on the second rise.
I really wanted to like these but the top lip often folds down and the Velcro rubs her tummy and can get very irritated. I find myself constantly checking to make sure it’s not rubbing because it’s very sharp. I wish I would have spent the money on the luxe snaps instead :(
The Luxe diaper sure seems like it's easier to put on but it's definitely uncomfortable. Doesn't matter how many times I fix the top front of the diaper, the small lip above the velcro ALWAYS folds in and the kinda sharp side of the velcro sits against my baby skin and always hurts.
The same happens to my 2yo that wears it for bedtime.
The regular kinder diaper doesn't have this problem, but somehow, doesn't matter what I do, I keep getting leaks, but not because of the inserts (it absorbed quite nicely) but because of the way it goes around the legs, the top part always seems kinda open as they move.
I wanted to say I loved these diapers, but I didn't really. I will say, they sure look super cute.

I LOVE the velcro! love love love
I originally tried the original pockets and covers, my little one is a little one the petite side (she wore preemie everything for 2 months) and I felt like the traditional snaps were just too bulky and didn't fit as well as they could've. We cloth diapered part time until I ordered 4 of the LUXE with velcro and its been a HUGE game changer! They don't leak, they seem to be less bulky and fit under clothes similar to disposable diapers, and I feel like i can get the perfect fit using the velcro. The "laundry" patches have been a life saver in keeping the inserts and other diapers safe from being snagged by the velcro. I will definitely be placing another order of the Luxe ASAP
My 7 week old was wetting through 2 Huggies snugglers overnight (she sleeps through most of the night and the leaking diaper is what wales her up) and after just one wash the green insert lasted all night! Using covers during the day at home and the luxe pockets for nighttime and going out (and 2 hook and loop for when she is at Grandmas')
This is my first time buying from Kinder and I specifically purchased the hook & loop diapers for the older caregivers at my son’s parents morning out program. The snaps on my original (different brand) diapers were challenging for them, and these have been a great alternative and well received.
Quality of the diaper is fantastic and the Velcro is strong! This is also my first time using a AWJ pocket and I’m pleasantly surprised how dry the material is compared to the wet insert. This will be so helpful in the summer.
I was a little worried that poop would get inside opening, which some of it did smear the insert, but overall it rinsed off very well without getting caught on the inside of the pocket.
I agree with another reviewer that the snap to hold the inserts is way too low due to the place of the Velcro- if you are using the smaller size of the diaper. However, the green insert fits perfectly (without snapping it) in the size shown in the video/picture. I can imagine the insert snap would be perfect for when the pocket diaper is at its largest setting.

Love these diapers!!! My baby boy is so comfortable in them. They are so easy to put on, and so far I haven’t had any leaks!
They are also so cute! Planning on having more kids so I will definitely be buying more to prepare future babies… also just want to collect these cute designs!
I got the luxe velcro ones, I got 8. and 5/8 had some type of issue with the AWJ or broken snaps so we couldn’t use the rise settings on our girl. other than that I don’t mind them, I like the double gusset as she’s just starting solids so that is lovely, I think I prefer the button ups though because I feel the velcro is chunky and when she sits it digs into her belly, but she does have that issue with buttons sometimes as well, maybe a fit problem on our end. I want to like these a lot and I understand they’re new, we exclusively use kinder cloth diapers, inserts wipes and all! i’m just a little disappointed at the AWJ and broken snaps, they came like that out of the package, but that’s okay, totally useable!

Love this diaper! Shown with a green insert on the third rise up. I was worried the inner gusset would be uncomfortable, but it’s very soft and flexible, and doesn’t leave marks on baby’s bum. Fits almost exactly like the essentials diapers. The only thing I wish was different was the flap for the insert being so low on the inside, poop will definitely cover it at some point.
If you need to shorten the diaper into a smaller size the insert absolutely does not fit. The button is too low because of the velcro and should have been designed to be up higher. You can use this without snapping in the insert, but i feel like the snap system is a huge selling point for Kinder that I've loved in the past. This was a huge miss for me. Picture shows an insert that has multiple washes so it is shrunk to size. Super disappointed, i only tried out the velcro luxe i don't know if the normal snap close luxe is the same.
We love the pattern and quality, but they arent the best fit for my mini. We have issues with bunching at the hip. It makes our LO very unvomfortale. These are more slim than most which i really like and they would definitely fit a larger toddler which is good
Such a cute pattern! The new velcro is so soft. I noticed the landry tabs can be finnicky, so to be safe I attach the main hip hook and loop instead of the laundry tab and they stay together during the wash much better.
The Velcro version of these are not as convenient as i thought they’d be. I appreciate them being offered especially for people who have trouble with snaps. But the snap diapers are just way better. The Velcro part folds over and gives my baby a rash and it’s never properly secured. The Velcro quality went down really quickly. I used them for 3 months and now we don’t use them at all. The luxe diapers might be good but the Velcro aspect doesn’t last or work well
Originally bought a handful of hook and loop but these snaps are better in my opinion. They are very soft, fit perfectly and very cute. I wish I would have bought all this kind because the Velcro on the hook and loop version is a bit bulky and stiff and sometimes the plastic rubs her belly.
These diapers are incredible. My only regret is that I already had a full stash before these were released, because I wish I could replace them all with these. My kiddo is the only cloth kid at daycare, and we have a clothes change almost once per day. The inner gusset is so helpful at avoiding leaks when it's not realistic to expect a perfect fit every time. Not to mention the outer waterproof layer feels luxurious and thick. If you're deciding between another diaper and these, pick these!
