Meet the newest addition to the Kinder family — the Essentials Hybrid Diaper Cover. Designed for flexibility, convenience, and comfort, this innovative cover bridges the gap between reusable and easy-to-clean diapering.

Crafted with parents in mind, our hybrid system features a wipeable PUL interior that allows for quick cleaning between changes — just swap out the insert and go! Use it with Kinder snap-in inserts, pre-flats, or flats for a fully customizable diapering routine.

  • Wipeable PUL Inner: A waterproof, laminated interior that can be quickly wiped clean between uses for pee diapers. 
  • Durable Waterproof Shell: The same trusted PUL (Polyurethane Laminate) outer layer used in our pocket diapers — breathable, soft, and leak-resistant.
  • Adjustable Sizing: Five rise snap settings allow for a perfect fit from approximately 7 to 65 pounds, growing with your little one from newborn through toddlerhood.
  • Dirty Closure Snaps: Keep messes contained when on the go — simply fold and snap the cover closed for easy storage until wash day.
  • Snap-In System: Securely attach one of our best selling diaper inserts or other absorbent layer with interior snaps for a no-shift fit.
  • Easy Care: All Kinder fabrics are machine washable and dryer safe on low heat.

I am new to cloth diapering so im still experimenting but I'm loving the fit of the pocket/hybrids and figuring out the covers some how my baby gets out of them easily but we are loving the switch!

I have a chunk munk 6 month old that wears the same size disposables as my 3yo! The other brand of cloth we used for my firstborn started runnining out of buttons so we went to kindred (I’m anti pocket and already have snap liners from the other brand!) these have SO much more room, I love that they are wipeable and I’m already so impressed with the liners we got too! So easy to get a good fit even for a thick kid!

So far I really like the new covers. I started with just one but will be putting in an order for more soon. In the video I point out how the inside is different from the old style which I love. The AWJ in the old style caused leaks for us and so far we haven’t had any issues with this new style. While I liked the double gusset on the old, this one has handled some pretty bulky insert combos so far. Much easier to get on my baby with the 3 snaps on each wing compared to the 2 snaps per wing on the old style.

These preflats are AMAZING. So soft, so easy to use, and they hold up incredibly well. I love how customizable the fit is, and they’re not bulky at all. They’ve made cloth diapering even easier for us. I’ll definitely be ordering more — obsessed!

Hard to tell where the center of the diaper is, as the hidden snap is pretty fiddly to see/feel. The inside fabric tends to shift and move and somehow I couldn't find it. They fit is completely different from the pocket diapers. The inner fabric also rolls over easily near the tummy which doesn't look too good. I'm wondering what a few washes will do and weather that seam will end up rolled over the top. Will update after a few more uses.
