Do Kinder diapers come with inserts?
All of our covers and pockets are sold without inserts. This allows our customers to choose the style of absorbency they prefer. Some families prefer to use different styles of absorbency like flats and prefolds.
Providing our covers and pockets without inserts allows us to be able to offer our diapers at a lower price point, making them accessible to more families.
What size range do our modern cloth diapers fit?
Our pocket diapers are estimated to fit most babies between 7 and 60 pounds. Featuring a generous fit and 3 by 5 rise snap settings, our diapers are made to grow and adapt with your baby.
Our cover diapers have a size range of 8-40lbs.
How to prep new cloth diapers
Our modern cloth diaper shells need only be washed once before wear.
Kinder cloth diaper natural fiber diaper inserts may be washed up to three times before use to improve absorbency. However, this is not necessary. Diapers will continue to become more absorbent after several washes and wears.
How to wash cloth diapers
Washing cloth diapers can be really simple!
This simple flow can be used to build most any cloth diaper wash routine.
1. Remove solids into the toilet. This can done with a diaper sprayer toilet attachment, by physically shaking the diaper or by dunking the diaper in the toilet and "swishing" it around to remove the solids. 2. Store dirty diapers in a pail or bag until wash day. 3. Perform a prewash in your machine. We like to run my prewash with line 1 of Tide powder detergent and a normal, heavy cycle with warm water. 4. Perform a main wash. We tend to run a heavy duty cycle with an extra rinse. For this cycle we will add line 1 of tide, sometimes line 2 if it's a particularly large load.
Athletic wicking jersey is both lightweight and breathable on baby's skin. By pulling moisture away from baby's delicate skin, AWJ creates a stay-dry feeling that helps reduce chafing and discomfort.

I bought this diapers when I was pregnant and had them saved up I was a bit scared and intimated to use them first baby and never cloth diaper waited until my baby started solids at 6 months and I can say we love love them . Recently took a trip to Mexico and took the inserts only used as swim and they worked very well everyone absolutely loved the diapers .. I’m very happy with them
I love these diapers, they work well and the prints are so cute!! I like how simple they are to use and wash. I use the Gerber diapers to stuff them and they are great. My baby is 8 months and I didn’t have any leaks or a blow out with these diapers. I’ll definitely be back for more!!
I had been debating getting cloth diapers and I found kinder and fell in love! I’ve only just started the past couple days but I already love it more then disposables.
I've been a cloth diaper mama for almost 10 years now! I used the same few brands with my first three kids, all the soft microfiber on the inside and thought they were great. But I didn't know what I was missing after trying out Kinder Cloth Diapers and the jersey material on the inside! So soft and honestly makes the diaper last longer as it pulls the moisture off baby and into the liner!
My favorite cloth diaper brand <3 Had some others but this is hands down my favorite and customer service is AMAZING. And you can't go wrong with all the cute prints!!
These diapers looked cute online, but in person they’re GORGEOUS! The material feels so soft and luxurious (even for the “Essentials” diapers), and the diapers themselves are sturdy and well constructed. I’ve been using them on my 9.5-pound newborn, and they fit and work well. I look forward to diaper changes now!
There's something wrong with one of the snaps/buttons on the jellyfish print. I have 20+ diapers from kinder, and this is the only one where the snap easily pops open when I was trying to put it on my baby. Thought it was just my imagination, but you can hear and feel the difference when snapping the button close and separating them to open. There' no resistance when separating it vs the other diaper in the video.
Even after having them washed twice before using my kid still pee through them.
I bought Nora diapers and he does perfectly fine in them.

Loving the quality of the cloth diapers, inserts, and reusable wipes! Had to get newborn specific cloth diapers because my baby was a very thin 6 lbs baby, but I've been loving the switch to kinder diapers. Excited to be adding more prints to our diaper stash as we continue cloth diapering!
